According to SPEEDME.RU journalists, Peugeot is preparing for the debut of the third generation 3008 crossover, the premiere of which is scheduled for September, and the launch of sales in Europe – for next spring. And so that the wait was not too heavy, the French decided to immediately reveal all the main features of its interior.
Thus, the 3008th should be the first Peugeot model that has a new interior front panel architecture called Panoramic i-Cockpit. We are talking about the further evolution of the proprietary i-Cockpit concept, which appeared eleven years ago.
The main difference between the new – curved 21-inch display above the steering wheel, which integrates a digital «tidy»; and multimedia system. Moreover, the projection on the windshield will no longer appear, and next to the center console you can see the i-Toggles – it has large touch buttons that help you open different sections of the menu or use certain functions of the machine.
The steering wheel, which is still beveled at the top and bottom, has found touch buttons, and the control selector can please an automatic transmission gears.
A little is known about the technical part of the filling of the model. With the change of generation, he will move to a modernized variation of the «cart» EMP2, and the engine range will become hybrid-electric.
