27-year-old Rose Montoya met with US President and First Lady Jill Biden at the largest pride event in White House history on Saturday.
During a short video, Posted on her Instagram page, Ms. Montoya can be seen shaking hands with Mr. Biden and telling him that «transgender rights are human rights.»
A later clip shows the model standing with several friends , as she briefly shows off her breasts on the South Lawn as someone yells, «Are we topless in the White House?»
The video caused a backlash online, with many calling her actions inappropriate.

Responding to the criticism, the model shared another video to her 103,000 followers in which she defended herself.
She said: «Why is my breasts now considered inappropriate or illegal when I show them off but before coming there was no trance?
“All you do is claim that I am a woman. All you do is say that trans women are women because for some reason people like to sexualize women's bodies and say they're inappropriate.
“My trans-male friends were showing off their surgery scars and living in joy, and I wanted to join them.”
She added, “And since it’s perfectly legal in Washington DC, I decided to join to them and cover your nipples, just to play it safe. because I wanted to be completely free and myself.

Montoya said she was just 'living in joy'At the event, Mr. Biden delivered a speech calling for the protection of the rights and safety of LGBT people amid a deluge of «terrifying» attacks on society.
“When families across the country face the agonizing decision to move to another state to protect their child from dangerous anti-LGBT laws, we must act. We must fight back against the hundreds of heartless and cynical bills introduced in the states against transgender children, terrifying families and criminalizing doctors and nurses, he said.
These bills and laws attack the most basic values and freedoms that we have as Americans,” he said.
His speech drew cheers and applause from the crowd, many of whom were dressed in shorts and sundresses in all colors of the rainbow, and some were dressed in sports clothes.
