The second update brought an improved interior to the big cross-coupe Honda UR-V

Following the other fresh models of the brand, the SUV has found a multimedia system with a “floating” tablet, but the digital tidy is still not available even for a surcharge.

The Honda UR-V coupe-shaped crossover debuted in 2017, it was created specifically for China, and production has been established there: the Dongfeng Honda joint venture is responsible for production. In 2020, the model was updated, and here is the second upgrade. In general, the newly modified “coupe” was opened by the Ministry of Industry of China back in December last year, but it is entering the market only now. Well, we note that the UR-V is not in great demand, although sales grew in 2023: 14,365 units were sold from January to May, which is almost 25% more compared to the same period in 2022.

Externally, the SUV has changed little. So, the radiator grille lost its plastic beam, the edging was made chrome-plated. Plus, the cross got 19-inch wheels of a new design. Well, the Honda UR-V is now available in the Black Edition: as you might guess, such a crossover has a black decor instead of a shiny one. The dimensions are the same. The length of the UR-V is 4856 mm, the width is 1942 mm, the height is 1670 or 1675 mm (depending on the version), the wheelbase is 2820 mm. By the way, the rear doors swing open 90 degrees.

The interior has been redesigned more carefully, the main new thing is a multimedia system with a 10.1-inch display (the predecessor had an 8-inch screen), which rises above the front panel ( like other recent models of the brand). The central air deflectors are now located under the tablet, and not on the sides of it, the panel itself is now soft.

The model also has a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, climate control, active noise reduction, wireless smartphone charging, a head-up display, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto-braking and lane keeping systems. But the not-so-cheap UR-V never received a virtual tidy — it is not even offered as an option.

Gasoline turbo fours 1.5 and 2.0 are slightly strangled: the base turbo engine after restyling produces 188 hp. instead of 193 hp, the second — 261 hp instead of 272 hp; torque has not changed — 243 and 370 Nm, respectively. Boxes are old. The 1.5T engine is combined with a CVT, a nine-speed automatic is put on the two-liter engine. All-wheel drive has only UR-V with an older turbo engine.
