This concept was developed by the company's academy students and took nine months to complete.
The Skoda Enyaq is an all-electric SUV based on Volkswagen's MEB modular platform. The presentation of the model and its “charged” RS version took place in September 2020. Later, the gamut was supplemented by their modifications with a coupe-like body. And last month, the family expanded with top performance Enyaq Laurin & Klement, which received new technology, different decor and, of course, rich equipment.

Skoda continues to show concept cars designed by students at the company's academy in Mladá Boleslav. This year, the students decided to take the Enyaq 80x Sportline electric crossover as a basis: a camper was created on its basis, which was given the name Roadiaq. The name of the concept was based on the word Road (translated from English — “road”): according to the developers, this “mobile office” is suitable for life and work on the road. The letter «q» is a reference to the names of all current crossovers of the Czech brand.
The project involved 29 students, who in total spent more than two thousand hours on the work. Students have significantly changed the body and interior of the SUV. So, Skoda Roadiaq received a plastic superstructure on a metal frame, which is located at the top of the electric car. The changes affected the roof and tailgate, but not the sidewalls, so the length and width remained the same (4649 and 1879 mm, respectively). The height has increased to 2050 mm, the wheelbase has also grown in the show car — up to 2770 mm, and the ground clearance has been increased to 190 mm.
The body of the concept camper has a two-tone white and green color, and the model also received 21-inch wheels. The rear door on the left side was turned into a stub and deprived of its outer handle. On the left there is a connector for connecting to the camping household network. Solar panels are integrated into the roof of the concept, in addition, the kit includes a folding awning that can be used while parking. » />In the photo: interior of the concept Skoda Roadiaq
The front of the cabin was not touched, but the rear was redone very noticeably. Here, Roadiaq has a bed, a small kitchen with a stove, sink, coffee maker, storage compartments for dishes. There is a folding table and chairs. Also in this area, the «mobile office» salon is adapted for «digital work» — there is a desktop, Internet access, a 27-inch screen, a wireless keyboard and mouse.
The students did not touch the equipment, so the Skoda Roadiaq has four-wheel drive and is equipped with a twin-engine power plant (one on each axle). Its total output is 265 hp, and the capacity of the traction battery is 82 kWh. The «donor» has a range of 460 km on a single charge, but the concept with a converted body, this figure is probably less.
