So, Exeed said that the M3X platform has been improved, although in the case of TXL, it is probably only about the introduction of improved security systems. The length and wheelbase are the same — 4780 and 2800 mm, respectively. The base engine was made a little more powerful: the 1.6 TGDI petrol turbo four now produces 201 hp. against 197 hp on a pre-reform SUV, but the maximum torque has not changed (300 Nm). This engine is still mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The output of the older 2.0 TGDI turbo engine was not changed (261 hp and 400 Nm), but instead of the 7DCT, it now has a classic eight-speed automatic. The crossover with 1.6 TGDI is exclusively front-wheel drive, while the TXL with a two-liter engine comes with all-wheel drive.

As for the design, the appearance is almost unaffected, except that the horizontal dies on the grille have become thinner, in addition, shiny overlays now flaunt on them. Multimedia — with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The front seat power buttons were moved to the doors, the seats themselves were also replaced. Finally, the SUV has lost the usual gear selector, instead of it — the steering column lever.At the moment, the updated Exeed TXL is available in China in three versions. “In the base” there are LED optics, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, the same scoreboard, wireless charging for a smartphone, a full-time DVR, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto-braking systems, monitoring of “blind” zones and retention in the lane. More expensive versions still have a heated steering wheel, a front passenger seat with a folding footrest, an air ionizer, an active noise reduction system.
The price of the upgraded Exeed TXL ranges from $20,700 to $24,800 .

In Russia, the SUV today is presented with strangled turbo engines: the base 1.6 produces 186 hp, the two-liter — 197 hp ., both are equipped with 7DCT, our model is exclusively all-wheel drive. Exeed TXL with a new interior is also likely to be brought to us — the only question is whether they will be in time this year.
