The design of the latest cross-country Fiat 600 was revealed back in June, and today the brand held a presentation of a five-door. Recall that in 1955-1969. under such an index in Italy they produced a cheap rear-engine small car (in other countries it lasted much longer). The new «six hundredth», in fact, will replace two models of the brand at once — the Fiat 500X SUV that did not achieve any outstanding results and the already deceased Fiat 500L compact van. By the way, the cross made its debut in the form of an electric car, which is called the Fiat 600e, but later the range will be expanded.

The fresh «six hundredth» is based on the French CMP platform (Common Modular Platform), on which Jeep Avenger, DS 3, Peugeot 2008 and Opel Mokka SUVs are also built. That is, Fiat has McPherson struts in front, and a semi-independent suspension in the back. Front wheel drive only.
The Fiat 600e is 4171mm long, 1781mm wide, 1523mm high (without antenna), and has the same 2562mm wheelbase as its sister Jeep. For comparison, the length of the current cross-country Fiat 500X is 4264 mm (in Euro version), the distance between the axles is 2570 mm. The SUV has so far been presented in only two versions — a special Red (the brand cooperates with the charitable organization of the same name) and the top-end La Prima. The first assumes a red decor in the cabin, the list of equipment for this option includes a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, virtual tidy (7 inches), six airbags, climate control and cruise control. Fiat 600e La Prima also features leather upholstery, power driver's seat with massager, rearview camera, adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping.
