Second IRS whistleblower claiming that Hunter Biden was receiving special treatment from the Department of Justice (DoJ) in connection with his tax affairs is a Democrat, it turned out.
Joseph Ziegler told the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday that he was «a gay Democrat married to a man.»
He joined Gary Shapley, the first whistleblower to appear before the television hearing committee meeting, where they detailed their allegations that the investigation into Hunter Biden was obstructed by the Department of Justice.
Republicans, who now control the House of Representatives, have focused on Joe Biden's 53-year-old son and his business affairs.

«One of the reasons that prompted me to come forward was the departure from normal investigative processes,» Mr. Shapley told the committee on Wednesday.
Mr. Ziegler, who has not previously been identified, compared his experience as a whistleblower to publicly coming out as a sexuality.
«Honestly, it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through, a deliberate scenario, so it would be very unfortunate,» he said.
Mr. Ziegler, who works in the International Tax and Financial Crimes Division of the IRS, was the lead agent investigating Khan Tera Biden.
He told the committee that he was prevented from interviewing members of the Biden family during his investigation.
«Appointed prosecutors did not seem to follow the normal investigative process throughout the investigation, creating unnecessary allegations and obstructions,» he said.

During the hearing, short-tempered Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green showed the committee posters drawn from sexually explicit photographs found on Hunter Biden's laptop.
