Jamie Foxx returns to work after going to hell and returning due to mysterious illness

The Oscar-winning actor and singer was hospitalized in April after suffering a «medical complication.»

Without divulging any further details about his condition, Fox said he «went through something I thought I would never go through.»

In a video posted to Instagram below, Fox said he didn't want to inform his fans sooner because he didn't want people to see him «with leaks.» out of me with pipes and trying to figure out if I'll survive.”

Debunking rumors about his condition, the actor said: “As you can see, the eyes work, the eyes work just fine.

“I wasn’t paralyzed, but I went through hell and back, and there were potholes on my road to recovery too. But I'll be back and able to work.»

Fox thanked his daughter Corrine and sister Deirdre Dixon for saving his life and thanked the doctors for helping him.

The actor was seen in Chicago, where he was treated at a facility that specializes in the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, brain or spinal injuries.

Fox, who starred in the film » They cloned Tyrone,» which recently aired on Netflix, said that if fans see him around and he starts crying, it's because he was «tough.»

In May, Fox's daughter said he was out of the hospital for «weeks» and recovering quickly.

The stars rushed to send messages of support to Fox.
