The new all-electric Skoda Octavia Combi family car is expected to arrive in 2026.
The Czech brand, which is part of the Volkswagen concern, began producing the Skoda Octavia in 1996. Over the past years, the car managed to change generation three times, the current fourth generation model was introduced in 2019. Now Octavia is available in two body styles — a liftback and a station wagon, the latter has the Combi prefix to the name. Octavia is expected to have fully electric versions later.

Previously, it was assumed that the “green” Skoda Octavia would have to wait until the end of the current decade, but now it is reported that the “trains” will appear earlier, already in 2026. One of Skoda's upcoming novelties could be the all-electric Octavia Combi family car, which, obviously, can either «sign up» in the SUV segment or turn out to be a «raised» station wagon.
There is no official information about what the potential novelty will look like yet. The designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es offered his version of the exterior of the all-electric family car Skoda Octavia Combi to the court of Internet users. Judging by the render, the Vision 7S concept can have a strong influence on the appearance of the future five-door. The head optics of the depicted car visually merges with a glossy black plug located in the place of the traditional grille. In the upper part there are «cilia» of navigation lights, below — the main blocks of headlights of a new form and with a different «stuffing». A concise trapezoidal air intake is integrated into the lower part of the front bumper.
The image shows that the future electric car has a very short rear overhang, other lights, there is a spoiler on the top of the sloping fifth door, made of unpainted plastic, there are black rails on the roof, the cases of traditional rear-view mirrors on separate legs are decorated in the same color. Regular door handles are painted in body color. The artist decorated the five-door profile with original large-diameter rims.

According to preliminary data, the Skoda Octavia Combi EV will be based on a modernized platform MEB +, probably, the novelty will have options both with a single electric motor located on the front axle, and all-wheel drive versions with twin-engine power plants. The system will include either a lithium-ion or lithium iron phosphate traction battery, and the maximum range on a single charge is likely to exceed 500 km.
