Another full-size truck of the American brand was refreshed with new running lights. In addition, some versions received darkened decorative elements, which were previously available for an additional fee. And 12-inch displays are now available to all versions.
Ford began producing F-Series pickups back in 1948, and the F-150 version appeared in 1975. Over the past time, this model of the American brand has already changed generations thirteen times. Let us remind you that the full-size truck of the current fourteenth generation debuted in 2020, and now, at the Detroit Auto Show, the company presented the updated F-150 pickup truck.
The refreshed truck has several differences in the exterior: for example, the front part has been updated with different running lights, and the LED “brackets” have become visually slimmer. The grille style remains consistent with the F-150, but Ford now integrates the different grilles into the space between the headlights more seamlessly. Another Platinum option will now come standard with darkened decorative elements in the exterior and interior (previously such a package was offered for an additional fee).

The main change in the stern was the appearance of the Pro Access tailgate, which can not only recline, but also open to the side, and in three positions: 37, 70 and 100 degrees. Moreover, the first option will give owners easy access to the loading platform even if a trailer is attached to the pickup. The updated cars with a modernized tailgate also have a wider bumper: it serves as a more stable step for those who need to get onto the loading platform.

In addition, the Ford F-150 now comes standard with a lockable a box located behind the wheel compartment on the passenger side. The same box may be located on the driver's side if the buyer does not select the optional Pro Power Onboard.
The interior, in fact, remains the same, the only difference is that now all versions are equipped with a digital instrument panel, and in the center of the front panel there is a large touchscreen of the Sync 4 infotainment system (the diagonal of both displays is 12 inches). The refreshed F-150 pickups have a maximum payload of 6,123 kg and a maximum payload of 1,113 kg.

During the update, the full-size Ford truck lost its basic 290-horsepower 3.3-liter naturally aspirated engine. Now the starting one is the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, and the company noted that its power and torque have become higher, although they have not yet said how much (note that the current engine has 325 hp and 542 Nm) .
The top-end 5.0-liter V8 with output of 400 hp remained unchanged. With. and a maximum torque of 556 Nm, as well as a 400-horsepower EcoBoost V6 with a volume of 3.5 liters (678 Nm). The updated F-150 lineup still includes a hybrid option based on a 3.5-liter V6, with a combined output of 430 hp. (773 Nm). A ten-speed automatic transmission is available for all versions.
The updated F-150 pickup truck will go on sale in the American market in early 2024, prices will be announced later.
