The
Z4 already has a long history on the market with three generations. The Bavarian has matured over the past twenty years, returning to the canvas roof after becoming convinced that the two-in-one format caused more problems for both customers and the brand, despite the furor caused by the sheet metal roof. And now the company is preparing an update for its model.
Z4 M40i — it's not a real M, but it's close to it. However, this particular version will debut next year with a six-speed manual transmission. And photo spies managed to capture the new product during testing.
However, the Bavarian brand is using the pre-facelift model to fine-tune the ratios of the same transmission that is installed on the Toyota GR Supra and which has been a little for more than two and a half years it has been offered only on the Japanese sports car. The manual Z4 will remain a great sports car thanks to its powerful 340 hp 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine. Automatic transmission «Steptronic Sport» will also be offered to customers for an additional payment.
Thanks to this, BMW intends to increase sales of the updated model, which will hit the market in the early summer of 2024. However, in just a year and a half, the BMW Z4 will be removed from sale.
