Demand for new special equipment increased in the summer of 2023 by 186.3% year-on-year, and for special equipment with operating hours — by 10.4%. At the same time, the supply of new special equipment for June-August 2023 increased by 208% compared to the same period last year, and for special equipment with operating hours — by 12.1%. Platform experts also named the most popular types of special equipment this summer.
The most popular types of new special equipment
According to the platform , the most popular type of special equipment was trucks with a demand share of 56%, the average price was 9,600,000 rubles.
The second place is occupied by agricultural machinery, the share of this type of equipment accounted for 9.3% of the total demand for new special equipment, and the average price was 1,099,000 rubles.
The third place is occupied by excavators with demand share 8% and average price 11,193,000 rubles.
Fourth place is occupied by tractors. Their share in the structure of total demand for new special equipment was 6.7%, the average price was 9,950,000 rubles.
The top five most popular types of new special equipment in terms of demand in the summer of 2023 are closed by loaders with a demand share of 5.6% and an average price of 3,066,000 rubles.

The second place is occupied by agricultural equipment with a demand share of 22.7% and an average price of 380,000 rubles.
In third place are tractors with a demand share of 14.2% and an average price of 4,650,000 rubles.
In fourth place are trailers with an average price of 1,200,000 rubles. The share of trailers accounted for 8.4% of the total demand for special equipment with operating time.
