The Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport complies with FIA safety requirements, but deviates from the regulations in terms of bodywork and technology. The power of the 4.2-liter naturally aspirated 6-cylinder boxer engine has been increased from 565 to 620 hp, new, more durable pistons and camshafts have been installed, and the control program has been rewritten. The 6-speed sequential gearbox, which sends all the power to the rear wheels, has changed gear ratios, resulting in an increased top speed of 20 km/h.
