In Penza, a driver flew into an underground passage in a BMW

A rare accident occurred in Penza. According to preliminary information, the driver of the foreign car tried to avoid a collision with another car at high speed, but was unable to avoid contact. As a result, the BMW flew into a pedestrian crossing.

It is reported that by luck there were no people on the stairs at that moment. The injured driver, a 24-year-old man, was hospitalized with a broken leg and chest injury. To get him out of the car, EMERCOM employees had to use special equipment.

The accident occurred on one of the central highways of Penza — Pobeda Avenue — at 21.40 on Saturday.

The circumstances of the accident are being established. The foreign car cannot be restored.
