The ex-Prime Minister of Britain spoke about strong men during the Cold War
An expert in Russian geography who considers Voronezh part of Ukraine, former Foreign Minister and ex-Prime Minister of Great Britain Liz Truss has finally discarded the false shame, went on stage and sang: “And I love the military — handsome, hefty!” The stage was the Wall Street Journal, on whose pages Truss poured out her feminine longing for a strong shoulder.
Truss sees the United States as the alpha male. But since Biden is no longer standing upright, she writes that the next president of America should be… a conservative from the Republican Party. And not just any kind, but one that is not afraid to “call hostile regimes evil and a threat.” A dusty, unsentimental cowboy in a powerful red pickup truck. “I love the smell of napalm in the morning,” that’s all.
This is where Putin will falter. Otherwise, “Moscow was lulled into the illusion that its armed forces could withstand the power of Washington.” And in general, Western liberals somehow relaxed and became convinced that since the USSR lost in the Cold War, then “the victory of freedom and democracy is eternal.” In short, stop morally decaying: “The West must provide Ukraine with the weapons necessary to deliver a knockout blow to Russia. This would be a direct message to Russia’s authoritarian patrons in China and Iran.”
Because, according to Truss, not only Russia, but also these two, have become unruly. Iran is playing around with the “nuclear deal” as it wants and will not die under sanctions, and Xi Jinping is generally an ungrateful dictator. He was accepted into the WTO on preferential terms, but instead of starting to bow and appease the West, he “suppressed democracy and freedom of speech in Hong Kong and led human rights violations in Xinjiang province.”
In short, war and iron curtain: “During the Cold War, the US led an alliance of free world countries, including Britain and Japan, controlling exports to China and the communist countries of Eastern Europe. The United States must once again lead the free world by ensuring that we do not export technology or goods that could be used against us — an economic NATO.»
The suppressed desire for “toxic muscularity” did not emerge from the liberal Truss by accident. For almost two years, it became obvious that the conservative (more precisely, traditional) way of life — dad and mom, boys and girls, a 155 mm shell, a bayonet shovel, oil, gas, a chamomile field, Pushkin and, say, Jack London, are different, but equal countries and people are a way of reality. And the entire liberal narrative is a fake, an artificial construction. A pink unicorn on an electric scooter flew into the cast-iron pillar of reality as fast as it could. The pillar turned out to be stronger.
And so, sniffling with a broken nose, rubbing her bruised knee, looking at the wreckage of the scooter, Liz Truss remembers that there was once a grandfather, a real man with a strong hand and a tough disposition. And he calls out to him in a very Trumpian way: “MAGA, MAGA, Make America Great Again!” And the echo usually answers: “LGBT… Q… +…”
Lizaveta, don’t torture yourself. Come to us. We have a lot of handsome, healthy military men.
At the same time, you will find out where we have Voronezh.
