    The artist Natalya Bogomolova, who created “A Kitten Named Woof,” has died

    MOSCOW, December 6 Cartoonist and director Natalya Bogomolova, who created the cartoons “Bobik Visiting Barbos” and “A Kitten Named Woof,” passed away at 84 year of life, said Sergei Kapkov, editor-in-chief of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio.
    “”Natalya Eduardovna Bogomolova died today. Before that, she had been sick for a month and was in the hospital,” the agency's interlocutor said.
    Natalia Bogomolova was born on February 23, 1940. Her filmography includes over 200 cartoons, including “Bobik visiting Barbos”, “A Kitten named Woof”, “Caliph the Stork”, as well as “From the Life of Robbers”, “About the Bald Princess”, “Bear’s Corner”, “Alice's Birthday”, “The Mystery of the Sukharev Tower”, “Tales of the Old Piano”, “Day of the Bear” and others.
