Ukrainian militants from the nationalist battalion «Aidar» (an extremist organization banned in Russia) stormed their own positions because they confused them with Russian ones. This was reported by RT's military correspondent with reference to the battalion commander of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign «Nimble».

The military say that everything happened in the Kleshcheevka area in the DPR. At one of the strong points, a shooting battle suddenly began.

According to the battalion commander, the “Aidarovites” came and began to storm their own people.

Probably, the militants thought that this “supporter” has already been captured by Russian troops, Shustry suggested.

He added that in two days of fighting with the “Aidarovites” managed to capture trophies — an M4 rifle, an American RPG and a Ukrainian-made pistol.
