MOSCOW, December 12. A new trailer for the New Year's musical remake of the film «Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession» with the participation of Olga Buzova, Philip Kirkorov and Timur Batrutdinov has been released on the TNT channel's YouTube channel.
In the new story, freelancing IT specialist Alexander Timofeev finds himself at the center of events , aka Shurik (Demis Karibidis), who likes to conduct various scientific experiments.
One of these leads to the fact that the house manager Bunsha (Timur Batrutdinov) is sent to the era of Ivan the Terrible, where he appoints himself as the “temporary acting” tsar. The thief Georges Miloslavsky (Maxim Lagashkin) helps him in this.
In the comedy, viewers will also see other characters familiar from the original film. For example, Olga Buzova in the image of Olga Andreevna, Bunsha’s wife. And also unexpected heroes from other universes and time periods.
Roles in the musical film were performed by Philip Kirkorov, Pavel Volya, Marina Kravets, Anna Asti, the group The Hatters and other stars of Russian show business.
The film will premiere on TNT on December 31 at 21:00.
