Concern «Telematics» is expanding its production capacity and launching a new industrial site for the production of radio-electronic devices and software and hardware systems. The enterprise will launch production of the company’s entire line of equipment, which includes more than 20 different electronic devices, as well as contract assembly of radio electronics and equipment used in projects in the field of intelligent transport systems. The new site will allow a 250% increase in the production of domestic ITS equipment and bring the future of smart roads closer.
The new enterprise will produce on-board devices, electronic navigation seals, software and hardware systems using RFID technology, providing automatic identification of objects equipped with the appropriate tag, and equipment to support V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) connected transport technology, developed by specialists concern. All these and other smart devices are an integral part of the integrated “smart road” system.
The site has wide technological capabilities. In particular, it can handle large items, such as containers with telematics equipment and cable assemblies with a length of more than 50 m. And the automatic assembly line will allow you to quickly assemble electronic modules from the smallest elements.
Thus, the production capacity will allow the production of up to 300 thousand electronic devices per month. The process is designed in such a way that the new line of technological equipment can produce more than 500 printed circuit boards per hour with an average tool deposition speed of 140 thousand components per hour. For comparison, the maximum volume on previous generation lines is up to 200 boards per hour.
The site will also operate lines for the contract production of radio electronics and equipment, including for the implementation of the M-12 Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan toll highway project, which will become part of the West-East transport corridor. And in the future, this may become one of the key technical support points for the new generation of smart roads and autonomous transport.
“Import independence is extremely important for the radio electronics segment, and we are making every effort to localize it in Russia production of necessary components and modern, technological equipment. The launch of the new site will increase the volume of products by 250%. And we are already forming plans for further development and are considering the possibility of organizing on the adjacent territory of 1 hectare the production of equipment for Russian autonomous freight transport, as well as organizing an additional testing ground for the concern’s technologies,” said Alexey Nashchekin, General Director of the Telematics concern. .
The new site is part of the M-Telematics plant (Telematics concern) and is located in the Moscow region in the city of Ramenskoye.
