The production and repair capacity of tanks in Russia is estimated 100-150 units per month, which is beyond the capabilities of all of Europe. This was stated by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defense of Latvia, Janis Garrisons, reports Delfii.
In his statement, Garrisons emphasized that history shows the importance of ensuring the high efficiency of military equipment and weapons to ensure success in military operations. He also stressed that efficiency requires smart logistics to ensure supply chains operate quickly and accurately.
Garrisons noted that increasing the number of soldiers is not sufficient to meet national defense needs. He stressed the need for sufficient weapons, tanks and other military equipment.
