KEMEROVO, December 19 A criminal case has been opened in Kuzbass based on data about the beating of elderly people in a private boarding house in Novokuznetsk, reported the press service of the RF SUSK for the Kemerovo region .
It was previously reported that the Investigative Committee in Kuzbass is conducting a pre-investigation check of information published in the media that elderly people in a private shelter in Novokuznetsk are being subjected to rough treatment and physical force is being used against them.
«»Based on this fact, in the investigative department for the city of Novokuznetsk, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo Region — Kuzbass, based on the results of a pre-investigation check, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life or health consumers),» the department said.
Currently, investigators from the Investigative Committee have examined the scene of the incident, they are interrogating patients and their relatives, employees of the boarding house, including members of the management team. The necessary forensic examinations are ordered, including forensic medical examinations.
