A music school, a train station, and a multifunctional center were damaged
Ukraine staged a night attack on Crimea. As a result of a missile attack on facilities in Feodosia, one person was killed and two more were injured. The port and civilian buildings were damaged. The purpose of the strike is an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to take revenge for the loss of Marinka and to interrupt the negative information background.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack on Feodosia using guided aircraft missiles. At the same time, they tried to hit the civilian infrastructure as much as possible, because one of the goals was to intimidate the population of the peninsula as much as possible.
According to the head of the Crimean peninsula, Sergei Aksenov, six buildings were damaged – mostly their windows were broken. For example, the railway station was damaged. The blast wave knocked out windows in the building, and plaster fell from the ceiling and walls into the waiting room. According to representatives of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Crimean Railway”, while the restoration of the facility is underway, commuter trains to Dzhankoy will depart not from the final station, but from the Aivazovskaya station.
Music school No. 1 suffered from the blast wave. According to the director School of Elena Ryabova, the premises are now being cleaned, since there is a lot of damage. For example, all the windows in the concert hall were broken, and the floor was strewn with fragments. Glass was also broken in classrooms. “Thank God, our instruments and pianos were not damaged,” the woman told media representatives.
In the affected area, the MFC is temporarily closed, and traffic on Desantnikov and Krasnoarmeyskaya streets is blocked, as special services need to clear the area of debris and shrapnel: the routes for civilian vehicles and public transport have been changed.
Now, according to local authorities, temporary resettlement of residents of nearby houses is being carried out – at least six people will be moved to temporary accommodation centers before the New Year. One of these points where people will live will be located on the basis of city school No. 9. There are many in the city who will temporarily live with relatives and friends. There are no details about one death or injuries at this time. “I called my friends in Feodosia,” Kerch resident Alexander told MK. – They say that the explosion was strong, there was such a bang that “mother, don’t worry.” But the fire was put out quite quickly by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is known that the station and music school were damaged, but the Museum of Local Lore, the oldest building in the city, as well as the cinema, appear to be intact. But how it is there inside is not known. I wouldn’t want the fragile exhibit of the museum to suffer, although first of all I feel sorry for the people.”
