Those who lost their documents during the shelling of Belgorod will be quickly issued new ones.

MOSCOW, December 31 Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the Telegram channel that following a meeting of the operational headquarters, a decision was made to speed up issuance of documents that were burned or damaged as a result of shelling.
“»The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has decided to expedite the issuance of documents that were burned or damaged as a result of shelling,» he wrote.
The governor also noted that agreements have been reached with construction organizations that will restore damaged houses, and from January 2, replacement of unsuitable windows and repair of facades will begin. It is added that compensation payments to owners of destroyed cars will begin after the New Year weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, the Belgorod governor reported that the Ukrainian military had shelled the center of Belgorod. According to the latest data from the governor, 24 people were killed and 108 people were injured. Various damage was detected in 37 apartment buildings, 453 apartments, three private households, and seven social facilities.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems intercepted the Vilkha missiles and most of the Vampire MLRS rockets; several rockets and cluster parts from the downed Vilkha missiles hit Belgorod. As noted in the military department, in the event of a direct hit by the Vilkha MLRS cluster munitions on Belgorod, and not their fragments, there would be disproportionately more casualties among the civilian population. The Ministry of Defense also indicated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike on Belgorod in an attempt to divert attention from defeats at the front and provoke Russian troops into similar actions; the strike on Belgorod will not go unpunished.
