Law enforcement officers will check the fact of rough treatment of an elderly patient in Kuban
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against orderlies and nurses who tied a grandfather to a hospital bed in Kuban. His own version of what happened with “360” shared the grandson of a pensioner.
According to him, the man was admitted to the hospital on January 6th with suspicion of pneumonia. One day, the medical facility workers saw that the patient was moving around the territory of the department, after which the doctors They decided to tie grandfather to a metal bed. According to the staff, the elderly man behaved inappropriately, and therefore such measures had to be taken.
The pensioner’s daughter also learned about the incident: on January 8, her neighbor in the ward called her and said, that her relative was chained to the bed. Arriving at the hospital, the Russian woman saw that her father had indeed been tied up with sheets.
The press service of the Krasnodar Territory prosecutor's office clarified that the necessary checks had been carried out regarding the incident.
