BELGOROD, January 18 The Oktyabrsky District Court of Belgorod chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for another member of the gang that beat passers-by, a 24-year-old local resident accused of hooliganism, the court reported.
«The investigator petitioned the court to select a preventive measure in the form of detention for 24-year-old Belgorod resident G., accused of committing hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) together with other unidentified persons… The court arrested man for 2 months,” the message says.
It is noted that the accused in a shopping center, using an insignificant reason, struck a foreigner several blows. The young people filmed this fact on video, which was distributed on Telegram.
Earlier, several videos appeared on social networks in which a group of young people beat passers-by on the street in Belgorod. SUSK and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region reported the initiation of criminal cases of hooliganism, incitement to hatred on ethnic grounds and attempted murder by a group of people.
Earlier on Thursday, the Sverdlovsk District Court of Belgorod took 19-year-old Denis Gubin into custody in the case of an attack by teenagers on passers-by.
