DONETSK, January 20 Three people were injured when Ukrainian troops shelled the center of Gorlovka, the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko said in his Telegram channel.
“»Due to the massive shelling of the center of Gorlovka from On the part of the VFU (armed formations of Ukraine — ed.), three civilians were injured of varying degrees of severity on Kirova Street and Pushkinskaya Street,” Prikhodko wrote.
Later, the mayor wrote that an emergency medical worker was injured during shelling by Ukrainian troops of Gorlovka, he did not specify whether she was among the three wounded.
Earlier, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops fired 20 missiles from the MLRS at Gorlovka.< br />
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
