The crash of the Il-76 military transport aircraft near Belgorod, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President, Mikhail Podolyak, promised to comment in detail later. The politician said that a separate statement on this topic would be made later – he is quoted by Reuters.

According to Podolyak, some time is needed to “clarify all the data.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense previously informed: on board the plane, in addition to 6 crew members and three accompanying persons, there were 65 captured military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The plane crashed in the Korochansky district of the Belgorod region near the village of Yablonovo.
