MOSCOW, January 30 Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova presented the Fyodor Volkov Prize for contribution to the development of theatrical art to theaters, theatrical and entertainment organizations and creative workers, reports correspondent.
«We decided to open the day of culture by presenting a wonderful prize, which occupies one of the key places in the achievements of theatrical art. And, of course, the Fyodor Volkov Prize is not only iconic, but every time new laureates appear on stage, we are very happy It’s nice that the theater family is expanding and proudly bears the name of the Fyodor Volkov Prize laureates,” said Golikova.
The prize was awarded to the Mytishchi Puppet Theater «Ognivo» named after Zhelezkin, represented by artistic director Alexei Gushchuk, the Chuvash Russian Drama Theater, represented by director Dmitry Kapustin, and the soloist of the St. Petersburg Ballet Theater Boris Eifman Lyubov Andreeva.
