Sales of Voyah Dream Long Range with more powerful technology and improved dynamics have started in the Russian Federation

The cost of the new version of the minivan is already known: on the Russian market the recommended retail price of this model is 10,890,000 rubles.

The premium brand Voyah belongs to the Chinese concern Dongfeng. The brand entered the Russian market in late autumn 2022, and its first-born was the all-electric crossover Free. Let us remind you that the official importer of Voyah models in the Russian Federation is the Motorinvest company, and the cars are supplied directly from the Middle Kingdom; There are no plans to organize local production at the moment.

At the beginning of last year, the company announced that they were preparing to bring the Voyah minivan to the Russian market: here they gave it the name Dream (translated from English as “dream”), although in the home market its name is Dreamer (“dreamer”). We reported that the luxury passenger van in the rich First version went on sale in November 2023. Now the family has been replenished with a new version with the addition of Long Range to the name.

This option is equipped with a traction battery of increased capacity – 43 kWh. The installation includes a 143-horsepower gasoline engine, which is capable of operating in several modes; so it can either charge the traction battery without communication with the drive wheels, or play the role of a traditional internal combustion engine and set the minivan in motion, or work in an automatic combined mode, that is, independently distributing the effort for charging and driving.

The Voyah Dream Long Range hybrid system also includes two electric motors, with a total power of 422 hp and a maximum torque of 620 Nm. This minivan requires 5.9 seconds to accelerate from zero to “hundreds”. The new version has a range of 185 km when driving only on electric power, and in hybrid mode – provided the fuel tank is full and the battery is fully charged – the range is 915 km (when calculated using the WLTP cycle).

For comparison, the previously presented versions of the Voyah Dream without the Long Range prefix have a total range of 750 km, and on pure electric power — 103 km. These versions require 6.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, the total output of the power plant is 394 hp, and the maximum torque is 610 Nm.

The equipment of the Dream Long Range includes an extensive range of driver assistants, an all-wheel drive system, air suspension, double acoustic glazing of sliding doors, and front seats with massage functions. A Type-C 18W port paired with a 7.5W USB port was installed on the auxiliary panel; in addition, the wireless charging power for smartphones has now increased to 50W. For second-row passengers, electric seat adjustment is provided in the longitudinal direction and Type-C (60W) charging ports. And the third row of seats has Isofix fastenings; it is also equipped with an adjustable backrest tilt level. The local representative office also announced the recommended retail price of Voyah Dream Long Range — 10,890,000 rubles. For comparison, buying a “regular” hybrid van (without a prefix) in the Russian Federation will cost at least 10,290,000 rubles, and the cost of the top-end First version is 16,990,000 rubles. For the all-electric version they ask from 11,290,000 rubles.
