The premiere of the Nissan Frontier Forsberg Edition is timed to coincide with the Chicago Auto Show, which opens on February 8. A new special version of the pickup truck was developed by Nissan together with the Forsberg Racing racing team and will be produced in limited edition.
The American mid-size pickup truck Nissan Frontier entered its third generation in 2021, but, unfortunately, did not live up to the expectations placed on it and is selling worse than its predecessor. In 2023, the Nissan Frontier sold 58,135 units in the United States, which is 23.7% less than sales in 2022. For comparison, Toyota Tacoma sales last year in the United States were 234,768 units. (-0.8%), Ford Maverick — 94,058 units. (+26.5%), Chevrolet Colorado — 71,081 units. (-20.3%), Jeep Gladiator — 55,188 units. (-29%), Honda Ridgeline — 52,001 units. (+22%), Ford Ranger — 32,334 units. (-43.3%). Meanwhile, sales of the second-generation Nissan Frontier in the United States peaked in 2016, when 86,926 copies of this model were sold.
