Only 16% are confident that Iranian cars have no chance of gaining trust in Russia, since our consumers are already spoiled for choice among other brands. 36% found it difficult to answer this question.
52% believe that the “Iranians” will be able to take root in the domestic car market due to the model range in the budget segment. 27% cited the presence of domestic production of Iranian cars in Russia as such a factor. 22% believe that this can happen with the help of state support programs, and another 16% — through subsidies from Iranian automakers for brands represented in Russia.
According to a quarter of respondents, Iranian cars will end By 2024 they will occupy a share of 1–2% of the Russian car market. Another quarter predict that this share could be 3-5%. Every tenth respondent (11%) expects “Iranians” to have 6–10% of the Russian car market at the end of the coming year. More than a third found it difficult to assess their prospects.
