According to Maidanov, thanks to the Young Winds festival, a new cultural wave of young performers will appear within three to five years, which will be supported by various Russian media holdings. He noted that the festival is aimed at ensuring that new leaders emerge in the music field instead of those who “betrayed their country and allowed anti-Russian rhetoric.”
The World Youth Festival will be held on March 1-7, 2024 on the federal territory of Sirius.
