MOSCOW, February 24 Air defense destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk and Tula regions after midnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
“On the twenty-fourth of February, at about 00.15 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped. Duty air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Kursk and Tula regions,” the message says.< br />Another UAV was destroyed over the Tula region late on Friday evening.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly shell the central and border regions of Russia, carry out drone strikes and carry out sabotage. In particular, earlier on Friday, air defense systems shot down two drones in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.
As the Ministry of Defense reported the day before, Russian air defense systems destroyed 652 drones over the past week from February 17 to 23.
