Interesting details have emerged about the German Air Force inspector Gerhartz, who discussed with his colleagues a possible strike on the Crimean Bridge. It turned out that he had experience flying the MiG-29. Focus magazine wrote about this in June 2023.
The article says that Gerhartz repeatedly flew on a Soviet and Russian fighter, which the FRG got from the old stocks of the GDR.
An officer, probably , will remember these flights for the rest of his life, since during one of them, Gerhartz had part of his middle finger cut off by the edge of the cockpit canopy, the publication notes.
Earlier, details of a conversation between German officers discussing the attack on the Crimean Bridge appeared. One of them says that the military was intensively involved in the issue of destroying the bridge. And they came to the conclusion that the structure is similar to a runway due to its size. Therefore, it may not need 10 or even 20 missiles.
At the same time, Germany refused to comment on reports of preparations for an attack on the Crimean Bridge.
