Yonhap: the first South Korean reconnaissance satellite transmitted images of Pyongyang “in good resolution”
South Korea's first reconnaissance satellite transmitted «good resolution» images of the capital Pyongyang, reports Yonhap agency.
The pictures show the office of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the port and other objects in the central part of the city. An agency source said the quality of the photographs was as expected.
The launch of a full-fledged reconnaissance mission using the spacecraft is reportedly scheduled for June-July 2024.
