MOSCOW, March 5 The Bakhrushinsky Theater Museum presented a model of the Theater History Center at the World Youth Festival, the museum’s press service reported.
““The model of the restored building in Moscow on Tatarskaya, 20 allows us to open the doors to the museum and theater quarter, which will be available to visitors in 2024,” the message says.
The general director of the museum, Kristina Trubinova, called the opening of the Bakhrushinsky museum and theater quarter a new stage in the development of the museum. “Modern technologies are expanding the museum space and making it more attractive to a young audience. Computer graphics, augmented reality technologies, and multimedia using artificial intelligence will be used in the quarter. Touch screens and projections, phygital installations, and interactive directional sound systems will be installed in the updated museum space , which will follow the visitor’s movement,” said the head of the museum, as quoted in the press release.
At the exhibition you will be able to see how theatrical and decorative art changed in the period from 1910 to 1925. The exhibition will include sketches by N. Sapunov, S. Sudeikin, P. Kuznetsov, N. Goncharova, A. Ekster, K. Malevich, I. Shkolnik, V. Tatlin and others.
«The design of the Theater History Center is based on Suprematism, which became the leader of style-forming processes in the 20th century. It can be seen in the design of the co-working space, classroom, and art objects on the windows. More than 30 multimedia screens will be installed in the Center to help visitors immerse yourself in the history of Russian theater,” the press service emphasized.
The World Youth Festival takes place from March 1 to 7 in the federal territory of Sirius by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The organizer of the festival is Rosmolodezh. – general information partner of the World Youth Festival 2024.
