During the shelling of Donetsk, a fire broke out at a solid waste landfill

DONETSK, March 6 A fire at a solid waste landfill occurred on Wednesday as a result of shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops, the mayor of the administrative center of the DPR, Alexey Kulemzin, reported on the Telegram channel.
“As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district, a fire occurred at the solid waste landfill on Petrovsky Street,” wrote Kulemzin.
The DPR representative office in the JCCC earlier on Wednesday reported nine shellings of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops using shells of «NATO» caliber 155 millimeters.

Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, it is the most distant part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kiev, this area has regularly come under fire from Ukrainian security forces.
