“I’ll be honest, the roles find me… I didn’t even know who Muslim Magomayev was until I was offered to play him. I didn’t grow up in the USSR, I didn’t grow up in Russia, and for me all his wonderful performances and incredible talent were a big discovery,» Bikovic told reporters at the World Youth Festival.
According to the actor, in order to play this role, it was necessary to find a “fine line.” “He was a man who lived on the line between love and work, opera singing and the stage,” Bikovich added.
