The main bank of the Rostec state corporation has launched a new product — a digital debit card for individuals. You can order a digital card in the Novikombank mobile application or in your personal online banking account.
A digital card is a debit card , but without physical media. All its details — number, CVV, expiration date, etc. — are located in the mobile application. One of the main advantages of such a card is its issuance in one minute, as well as ease of use and security.
The digital card has all the functionality of a regular plastic card. With its help, you can pay for goods and services in stores, withdraw cash from ATMs with a contactless payment service, and by linking the Mir Pay function on Android devices, you can make transfers and pay for utility bills. All the usual loyalty programs available to Novikombank cardholders, such as Cashback and Bonuses, can also be connected to a digital card.
“In addition to speed of issue, zero wear and tear, and therefore environmental friendliness, a digital card is also a convenient and safe financial instrument for making purchases and withdrawing cash. Now clients have the opportunity to instantly issue a card in a mobile application or online banking, link it to Mir Pay and start using it immediately. This will allow our clients to significantly save time, and will also protect their cards from theft,” said Senior Vice President of Novikombank Mikhail Marin.
Along with the issue of digital cards, the updated functionality of the personal account of the mobile application and online banking now includes the ability to change and set a PIN code, as well as view and copy the full details of any card.
Novikombank continues to modernize its IT services . Earlier it became known that the bank entered the second pilot group to test the digital ruble. Its release into mass circulation is tentatively planned for 2025.
