NALCHIK, March 28 The police detained three teenagers who were drifting in a relative’s car near the Eternal Flame in Nazran, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia reported on Thursday.
On Wednesday evening, patrol officers during patrol noticed a VAZ-21114 on Bazorkin Avenue, which was drifting at high speed near the Eternal Flame.
«The driver, having ignored the police officer's demand to stop, tried to escape, but, losing control, hit an iron light pole, after which the car stopped. There were a 17-year-old man in the car the driver and two passengers aged 17 and 15 years old,” the release states.
The teenager took his uncle’s car without permission, drove with his younger brother to the mosque, where they met a friend and decided to drive around Nazran.
In relation to the parents of teenagers, administrative protocols have been drawn up under the article “Failure of parents or other legal representatives of minors to fulfill duties for the maintenance and upbringing of minors” of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
