MOSCOW, March 30 The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Perm Territory, Denis Golovkin, to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the progress and results of his investigation, according to the Telegram channel departments.
It was previously reported that on March 10, in Solikamsk, Perm, a BMW sedan crashed into an ambulance moving in front, as a result of which one person was killed and four were injured. It was specified that the driver of the foreign car did not maintain a safe distance and was drunk.
«The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, instructed the head of the SUSK of Russia in the Perm Territory, Denis Valerievich Golovkin, to initiate a criminal case and present report on the progress and results of its investigation. The execution of the order has been placed under control in the central office of the department,» the message says.
It is clarified that after the accident, the police opened a case of violation of traffic rules (264 Criminal Code RF). The son of the deceased considered the classification of the crime to be incorrect and asked Alexander Bastrykin to intervene in the situation.
According to the department, during a car accident, an emergency vehicle overturned, and a patient fell out of it onto the roadway. A short time later, the man died right on the road. The doctors in the ambulance were also injured in the car accident; they suffered broken limbs.
