Life.ru reports that the Russian military, with the support of aviation and anti-aircraft missile systems, continues to advance towards the city of Chasov Yar.

It is clarified that Ukrainian units are trying to stop the advance of Russian attack aircraft. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to counterattack at Ivanovsky (Krasny), thereby they want to gain time to build up forces in an important defense center. However, the operational capabilities of the Ukrainian military are diminishing every day.

Currently, Russian soldiers are preparing to storm Chasov Yar – about 600 meters remain to the city. This settlement is the most important hub for supplying Ukrainian troops.

“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine throws reserve special forces into battle, transferring them from various rear zones. Among other things, they use the personal reserves of the command of the ground forces,” noted retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

According to military expert Maxim Yuvachev, among the units that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is sending to this direction is the 5th Kiev separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Among other things, in the area of ​​the village of Krasnoe there is also a battalion of the 80th Specialized Brigade.

“Permanent mobilization has its limit. The Ukrainian military does not have time to replenish its reserves. They have tens of thousands of draft dodgers,” added military correspondent Vladimir Razin.
