The State Duma assessed the possibility of adding Pugacheva to the list of foreign agents

MOSCOW, 29 MarchSinger Alla Pugacheva will be included in the register of foreign agents if there are legal grounds, State Duma deputy Sergei Solovyov said.
The head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, previously published a document from which it followed that the Prosecutor General's Office sent a request to the Ministry of Justice to recognize singer Alla Pugacheva as a foreign agent.
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that he had not heard any official statements regarding the recognition of Pugacheva as a foreign agent.

«I consider the decision to carry out the procedure to recognize pop singer Alla Pugacheva as a foreign agent extremely correct and, again, I am confident that the check will be carried out thoroughly, comprehensively and objectively. It is premature to talk about the timing, but if there are legal grounds to include Pugacheva in the register, such a decision will definitely be made,” he said.
