The Kuban State Medical University (KSMU) fired the surgeon who sewed on a child’s face bitten off by a dog. This was reported to REN TV by the press service of the educational institution.

“He has held the position of assistant at the Department of Surgery since October 2023 at 0.25 rates. In early April, he submitted his resignation at his own request,” – the message says.

It is also noted that the dismissed surgeon, as part of his duties, carried out only teaching activities. However, he did not conduct surgical practice at the department.
