MOSCOW, April 15, Sergey Fuks. Head of the Ski Racing Federation Russia (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe called three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov the undisputed leader of the team, who gives motivation to the rest of the athletes of the national team.
Previously, Bolshunov became the early winner of the overall standings of the Russian Cup at the end of the 2023/24 season. He also won the distance and sprint categories.
“”I don’t like the word motivation, there must be a goal in sports. Sasha’s goal is always victory. It doesn’t matter what the start is. I don’t agree that there is no competition in the men’s team, he doesn’t bring minutes to everyone.
