It became known where half of the Kharkov TV tower fell

The TV tower in Kharkov fell into a forest after a missile attack

The upper part of the Kharkov television tower, destroyed as a result of a missile attack on Monday, April 22, fell away from a residential area.

Baza published a video with places where the structure fell. The footage shows that metal fragments lie at the foot of the tower among green spaces – the tower is located in a park area in the Shevchenko district of the city. There was no information about casualties during the destruction of the facility.

Earlier, RIA Novosti stated that “the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, referring to his colleagues,” told the agency about the strike of the Russian Armed Forces on the Kharkov television tower. The interlocutor also stated that “it had an air defense communication antenna” of the Ukrainian army.

Kharkov authorities confirmed information about the destruction of a television infrastructure facility and reported that there were “interruptions with the digital television signal” in the city.

The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the information.
