The “Sincerity” and “Courage” quarters of the “Symbol” project in Lefortovo from the Donstroy company became winners in the category “Commercial infrastructure of residential complexes” in the XXI Annual Moscow Commercial Real Estate Awards 2024.
“Today, commercial infrastructure is no less important element of development than architectural solutions or the presence of a park. This is the bare minimum that everyone needs from the first day of life in a new apartment. In Symbol, more than 20 thousand square meters are allocated for commercial premises. m. To date, more than 90 commercial premises with a total area of over 10 thousand square meters have already been opened in the Symbol project. m, another 14 are being prepared for opening this year.
The Symbol business class quarter is a new generation urban space in the historical Lefortovo district, on the border of the Central Administrative District, just 2 km from the Garden Ring. Solutions for commercial premises located in Symbol's neighborhoods were based on the client's core values and were also determined by changing needs and real estate trends. “Donstroy” approached the implementation of the project consciously, including in the concept a competent combination of social, commercial and residential real estate, due to which the variety and number of street retail objects is maintained at the level of the needs of the residents of “Symbol” both in terms of shops, restaurants, and sports centers .
In total, over the ten years of implementation of the Symbol project, the developer put into operation 834 thousand square meters. m of real estate – more than half of the planned volume of 1.5 million sq. m. m. Today in “Symbol” the quarters “Dignity” (147.9 thousand sq. m), “Freedom” (214.3 thousand sq. m), “Courage” (229 thousand sq. m) and “ Sincerity” (242.5 thousand sq. m) – in total there are more than 7 thousand apartments.
In parallel with the residential areas, Donstroy is building social infrastructure facilities in “Symbol”. A municipal kindergarten for 330 children is already operating. Last year, Bauman Engineering School No. 1580 for 1,225 students opened its doors to its first students.
The methodology for assessing projects and companies was developed by specialists from the Moscow Research Forum, which united the analytical departments of five leading international real estate consulting companies, and is updated annually by an expert council of market participants. The correct application of the methodology is verified by an independent award consultant.
