“The water has covered the entire floodplain near the Tyumen-Omsk federal highway. Over the past three days, the rise has been more than 4 meters. Only 19 centimeters remain to the record level of 2017. Apparently, today this maximum value will be broken,” Moore wrote.< br />
According to him, all work to strengthen the embankments has been completed, 109 thousand bags of soil have been prepared.
The emergency regime in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8, the peak of the flood in the region is expected on April 23-25. The river level in the city of Ishim near the city of the same name on the night of April 20 exceeded a critical level. On Monday, the water level in Ishim, in the area of the city of the same name, where about 64 thousand people live, began to slowly decline, but Tobol, in turn, began an intensive rise in the Uporovsky district with 19.5 thousand inhabitants.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations , more than 4.6 thousand people were evacuated in the region. 178 residential buildings, 523 country houses, 2.8 thousand household plots and 17 sections of highways remain flooded.
