MOSCOW, April 30Promising drones are being tested in the rear of the Northern Military District zone, the Ministry of Defense reported.
“At one of the new training grounds in the rear zone of a special military operation, the development and testing of promising unmanned aerial vehicles has been organized, taking into account the experience of the Northern Military District, as well as communications equipment and portable drone detectors,” the release says.

As noted in the military department , the drones being developed can use various types of ammunition, their equipment allows reconnaissance day and night in simple and difficult weather conditions.

«During the tests, UAV operators practice destroying targets simulating enemy shelters, control posts and military equipment, using various types of dropped ammunition and kamikaze drones,» the Ministry of Defense added.
In addition, the organization of the development and testing of drones was checked by Deputy Prime Minister — Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and First Deputy Minister of Defense Ruslan Tsalikov.
