According to information from eyewitnesses, an explosion occurred in the dormitory of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Moscow. The event occurred at 22:30 local time, as a result of which the residents of building No. 12 were evacuated. First, a bang was heard, followed by a fire alarm, and a burning smell was felt on several floors.
According to witnesses, rescuers arrived at the scene, and at the moment there are five fire engines there. There is no official confirmation yet from the relevant departments.
It was also announced on April 27 that one of the floors of Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport was being evacuated due to an alleged explosion threat. However, later airport representatives denied this information, saying that the airport terminal was operating as normal.
